‘Christian’ Swapping Site Hooks Up Married Couples With Sex Partners for ‘Free Love’

Biblical marriage II pdSpouse  swapping?  Seriously!

There is so much wrong with this, where does one begin?  Not only does the Bible define marriage, it has a LOT to say about it. Marriage was instituted by God, and therefore is a holy institution.  I would suggest to all professed married couples to know what God's word teaches before engaging in destructive sinful behavior.  Lust is the polar opposite of a holy institution and the  Bible is full of scripture that warns us to avoid, abstain from, flee!

What is lust? The dictionary definition of lust is "1) intense or unrestrained sexual craving, or 2) an overwhelming desire or craving." The Bible speaks of lust in several ways. Exodus 20:14, 17 (NLT), "Do not commit adultery. . . Do not covet your neighbor’s house. Do not covet your neighbor’s wife, male or female servant, ox or donkey, or anything else your neighbor owns," or Matthew 5:28, "But I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust in his eye has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Job 31:11-12 (NLT) sums up lust quite nicely: "For lust is a shameful sin, a crime that should be punished. It is a devastating fire that destroys to hell. It would wipe out everything I own."   Read more: http://www.gotquestions.org/what-is-lust.html#ixzz2dMdzQmTH

Controversy is stirring over a professing Christian website that provides a venue for married couples to hook up with other partners to find ‘free love.’

The term swinger is defined as “a person who swaps sexual partners in a group” or “who engages freely in promiscuous sex.” It has been virtually unheard of in Christian circles–until now.

A shocking free dating site says that Christians should be able to exchange sexual partners because Jesus allegedly taught that men are not to judge the lifestyles of others.

“For Christian swingers things are not easy–often other religious people judge you, out of ignorance or envy, telling you that your lifestyle and love practices are wrong,” it states. “But the Bible teaches us ‘Judge not lest ye be judged’ and there’s that verse about the first stone.”

The site claims that its services are for those who find no conflict between their faith and having sexual relations with someone who is not their spouse.

“[I]f you’re keen on keeping your privacy, … and don’t want your friends, coworkers, other PTA members or just about anyone else to know that you don’t have a problem with faith and enjoying free love with other couples, this site can help you!” it continues. “It’s designed to cater to the needs of those like you: devout Christian couples who still want to have an active love life and share it with another, in good faith!”

The site, which features sexually suggestive profile photos from couples both nationally and internationally–from Gastonia, North Carolina to Durban, South Africa–claims that it could “change [a couple's] life for the better” by expanding their sphere of sexual partners.

“Visit our club and discover other Christian couples with the same interests and desires who find you hot,” it states. “[We] will make your life easier and give you more access to potential dating partners!”

Reaction to the site has largely been negative.

“This is ridiculous and disgustingly shameful! So, this is what they want to represent to an already fallen world?” one commenter asked. “These are not Christians. They are delusional secularists run amuck! People beware: This is not anointed by God. Read His word (The Bible) and learn who He truly is; and you will see that this is spitting in the face of our Lord and Savior!”

“What ever happened to forsaking all others as long as you shall live?” another asked. “‘Judge not lest ye be judged’ never gives license for adultery, pedophilia, murder, imperialism, economic injustices, environmental degradation, violations to human civil liberties, gender injustices, racial injustices, and other evils at all.”

However, News One also took a poll about the matter, and found that 27 percent of their readers believed there was nothing wrong with the concept of a Christian swinger. Still, 36 percent believed that those who engage in sexual relationships with those other than their spouse will be held accountable for breaking God’s holy law and will spend eternity in Hell if they do not repent.
